• Cell phones (and other electronic devices) contain toxic substances such as arsenic, lead, cadmium, and beryllium that can pollute the air when burned in incinerators and leach into soil and drinking water when buried in landfills.
• Cadmium can damage the kidneys and it is transferred through the air and through our food.
• Lead accumulates in landfills and can cause damage to the central and peripheral nervous systems.
• Mercury gets into our water supply and accumulates in living organisms and travels up the food chain. The principle exposure pathway is through our food and it causes brain damage.
• Cell phone recycle campaigns are good for our environment because all collected cell phones and electronic devices are either refurbished or disposed of using only the most ecologically sound methods.

The Integrity Community Impact Foundation (ICIF) offers businesses and consumers a charitable cell phone donation opportunity. Companies choosing to donate their used & unused cell phones not only help the environment, but will also benefit such organizations as Temporary Lodging for Children & Families (TLC), Christian Family Services, the Servant Christian Community Foundation, and Integrity Resource Center.

ICIF recipients receive charitable dollars from used cell phone donations through participating corporate sponsors, employees of companies, & other interested organizations.

Truly one man’s junk can become another man’s treasure. ICIF charitable organizations will directly be benefited from the funds raised through your charitable gift of old & unused cell phones.

Donation Procedures

1. Pack cell phones, accessories, batteries and chargers in a sturdy box. Please ship a minimum of 5 phones.

2. Complete the Donor Information Sheet and include it with your shipment.

3. Donating multiple wireless devices? Contact Integrity on receiving FREE shipping labels.

4. Next, affix a shipping label to the box and give the package to your preferred postal delivery vendor
